The Master Chef

Before we got married I had a small glimpse of what Jayson could do in the kitchen. However, over the past few months he has continued to wow and amaze me with his culinary genius! Here are some shots of Jayson working hard in the kitchen along with the incredible meal he prepared this past Monday.

"A good cook is the peculiar gift of the gods. He must be a perfect creature from the brain to the palate, from the palate to the finger's end." -Walter Savage Landor

"Cookery has become a noble art, a noble science; cooks are gentlemen." -Robert Burton

This dinner was absolutely amazing! It was comprised of orange-ginger salmon on a bed of lettuce accompanied by steamed yellow squash atop wild rice.

After dinner he wrapped up a flawless meal by serving up a to-die-for dessert. No one can resist a warm brownie, but when it is topped with homemade mint cookies 'n cream ice cream you think that you have died and gone to heaven! So delicious!

Not only did Jayson make dinner but then he did all of the dishes with a smile on his face! :)

"The discovery of a new dish does more for the happiness of mankind than the discovery of a star." -Anthelme Brillat-Savarin
