With that little disclaimer, I'll share with you some of my attempts to come to terms with life :) This morning I went to a water color class sponsored by the school district I work for. It was to offer teachers ideas of water color projects they could do with their classes. Since I am not a teacher I was mostly just going for myself! Someday maybe I will be able to teach what I learned to my own kids, but in the meantime it acted as a theraputic tool for me. I had so much fun just painting! Things at work have been so stressful and it was so relaxing and relieving to just sit and let the water colors do their thing. I haven't done much with water colors during my past art experience, but the teacher was great and she helped us just have fun with it. So here are the projects we did. I am not a huge fan of the first one, I wish I had drawn in the petals differently, but it was still fun to make. My favorite one is the outer space one, it was a blast to make!

How fun! These pictures make me happy. It makes me think of the good old times when we would just sit and paint together, just for the fun of it. Remember our craft boxes? :)
Ooooh, I like the second one. That pink flower is so pretty! I'm seriously impressed with your painting skills Lara... but then again, with all the darling stuff you made for your speech sessions, I knew you were an artsy/crafty kind of girl :)
