RIVERDANCE!

Jayson and I had an early Valentine's date this weekend to Riverdance! He had been to it before and said that it was awesome, he was right! Not only is the dancing incredible, but the music as well. They had the most amazing fiddle player. I have never seen feet move so fast in my life, I was awestruck. If you have never seen Riverdance before I stuck in a couple of videos from YouTube. The quality isn't the greatest, but you can get the general idea. Definately watch the first two.

We started the evening out by eating dinner at our favorite restaurant, Biaggi's. It is an Italian place at the Gateway in SLC. Jayson even made reservations, so it was a real bonifide (sp?) date! We have never been disappointed in any meal we have had there. Jayson splurged and got the filet minon and I got an awesome chicken dish with roasted red potatoes and asparagus. Their asparagus is my favorite! I could go and just order a plate of asparagus and be happy, it is that good. We also splurged and got an appetizer, which we hardly ever do, but hey, it was our Valentine's date! We got stuffed mushrooms cause Jayson has never had them and he is now a fan. They were so delicious!

It was fun to actually be out doing something, we have kind of been hermits the past little while, and it turned out to be an A+ night out on the town!

so fun! glad you had a good night out. my mom and sisters went to riverdance too. little off topic-but i had a dream last night that we were all back in classes at grad school again and they wouldn't let us print anything off the printers anymore! lol, it was such a frustrating dream because sister dorais had messed up a bunch of copies and we couldn't fix it. even when grad school's over, the drama continues! j/k.

What a fun night! We almost at at that restaurant a few weeks ago, but didn't. I'm glad to get such a high recommendation for them, though. We'll have to try it sometime.

How fun! I'd love to go to Riverdance. In my 500 level step-dance class at BYU we did one Irish hard shoe dance. It was hard. It takes incredible strength and balance. I also love Irish music and think fiddlers are awesome. Okay, I have to admit that I'm a little jealous that you go on awesome dates. Wanna volunteer to babysit? ;)
