Well we have been back from our Seattle vacation for close to a week now and I haven't blogged anything about it! Doing the whole thing at once is a bit overwhelming so I am going to break it into chunks. Here is our first day with the family.
Ice Cream at Theno's Dairy
A trip home wouldn't be complete without a visit to Theno's, a little local ice cream shop in Redmond. My favorite thing about Theno's is their seasonal flavors; cantaloupe (summer), pumpkin (fall), and eggnog (winter) are my favorites!

Pops in the Park On Saturday evening we went to the Bellevue Botanical Gardens where there was a free summer concert going on. We brought our picnic dinner and enjoyed music from a little folk band featuring an accordion player.
It was a gorgeous Seattle evening and we even got to enjoy a walk through the gardens after the concert. Here is a little taste of the music. The first one is a "Beer Song" and the second features the saxophone. We loved the adorable little garden employee dancing on the sidelines!

Next reunion we should be the ones up their dancing; maybe a line dance behind the lone employee!
Okay, so I'll have to make sure I visit Theno's when I finally get to see Cole's "paradise" (aka Redmond). Hopefully there will be a concert series when we go next year, because that sounds like fun!
