We went to see my brother Spencer perform in Christmas Around the World at BYU. He was in a very cool dance from the Philippines. It was a great way to kick off the holidays!
After Christmas Around the World we met up with my childhood friend Shawna and her kiddos and went to look at the lights at Thanksgiving Point. I love the friendships that never die!
Mom and Carolyn stayed with us for a quick visit on December 15th before Carolyn went into the MTC. She is serving an LDS mission in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for the next 18 months!
Mom and Spencer got to drop Carolyn off at the MTC in Provo.
Off she goes! Isn't she cute in her red plaid skirt and white & black checkerboard coat?! She will be such a great missionary!After dropping Carolyn off mom came back up to stay with us and took me on a maternity clothes shopping spree! I am now feeling much more comfortable and was able to get rid of my jeans that were being held together at the top by a rubber band through the button hole :) Thanks mom!

I had tons of fun shopping with you. You being my first, and having been born while we lived right there in Layton, made it all the more special. It was a little walk down memory lane. To think that all those years back, I was anticipating my first...YOU! What an incredible blessing you have been to me; and what a blessing he will be to you!
