One Year Older But Still One Month Younger - August 28, 2007

Jayson celebrated his 26th birthday this past Tuesday. He will now have to stop teasing me about being 26 years old :) Unfortunately for him, his birthday fell on the night before my first day of school (by school I mean work, since I work at a school) so I wasn't nearly as creative and thoughtful for him as he was on my birthday because I was so stressed out. I am lucky that he is so understanding and forgiving. We did go out to dinner at a new restaurant near our house called Boston's. Our main dish was even free because I won some gift certificates at a raffle during new staff orientation! It was funny because I was commenting to the folks at my table how I never won anything in drawings and then suddenly my name was called. But I digress . . . I was talking about Jayson's birthday. So his birthday was pretty low key, but we enjoyed just kind of taking it easy and spending the evening together. We also enjoyed a Chocolate Satin Pie from Marie Callender's! Yum, yum!
