Monday - We blessed our lives with the purchase of a wireless optical mouse! Our old mouse was really struggling, so we decided to pull the plug on it! Literally we did pull the plug and went wireless. We are loving it! It not only works great, but we love not having another wire cluttering up the desk. I am grateful for the blessings of technology!Tuesday - As of Tuesday there are now 8 out of 20 subjects done with data collection for my thesis! I know there are a still a lot to go, but even 8 seems like a blessing as the going has been really slow and we have had to fight for each and every one. I have to give many thanks to my fabulous partner on the project, Lisa! She was working really hard this week and helped the 8th one get completed. I am grateful to her!
Wednesday - Our ward Relief Society put together a wonderful night with dinner and a speaker. Dinner was an early Thanksgiving (it got me excited for the real thing) served by the young men and young women :) It was kind of fun to just sit and be served. The speaker was Dean Hughes, a popular LDS author. He was a fabulous speaker and shared a lot of wonderful messages. The one that struck a cord with me was that we need to be focusing on what really matters in this life. He spoke about how there have been times in his life when he considered his writing to be important above all else, but he learned that this was not the way to find success and happiness in this life. When all is said and done and we are brought before the Lord all those things that we fussed so much about and worried so much about in this life are not even going to be in our thoughts. All we will be thinking is that we want to have a pure heart before the Lord. I have been working this week and putting first things first. I am grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life and the happiness it brings!
Thursday - I got to spend the evening with my good friend Yuki, who I haven't seen in probably 5+ years!!! She was one of my roommates my freshman year at Rick's College. It was so fun to catch up and to meet her cute baby boy. I am grateful for good friends!
Friday - I got to spend the entire evening just relaxing and hanging out with my husband. I am grateful for the ability to work hard so that I can appreciate those times when I can relax! I am also grateful for my husband, who I still have so much fun hanging out with!
Saturday - We received our October General Conference edition of the Ensign. I can't wait to start reading it, there were so many great messages in it. I am grateful that we have a living prophet and apostles on the earth today who are there to guide us with their counsel!
I have so much to be grateful for! Life is a wonderful gift!

Wow...all of the sudden there were a million posts. I was totally thinking-goodness those two are so busy with work....but noooo, not the case at all :) Good to hear what you have been up to. Hey and thanks for doing the tagged thing, it was fun to hear about you guys!

To answer your question, the Young Single Adult Shepherding couple is a new calling. . .in fact, I think they are kind of doing an experiment in a few stakes. Anyway, we basically shepherd the young single adults. . . try to get them active because a lot of them get lost. It's been fun so far. I like having a calling with Warren!
