On Friday evening I found the greatest deal of my year thus far. Jayson and I were lured into Famous Footwear by their "Buy One Get One 1/2 Off" Sale. He needed some new running shoes so we figured we would see what they had. While he was trying on running shoes I was perusing the women's section and stumbled across the clearance items. I found a great pair of brown shoes that are just what I have been looking for to replace my old pair. They were on clearance for $20, marked down from $69.99!!! Wow, what a great deal you say to yourself. Well, it gets even better. Since the Buy One Get One . . . sale applies to shoes of equal or lesser value we paid full price for Jayson's shoes and then got my pair for 1/2 off. So I ended up getting them for $10.00! That's 86% off! Definately the highlight of my week.
