Our commencement speaker was Elder Richard G. Scott of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. He gave a fabulous address in which he outlined how he believed you can achieve the most success in life. He urged us to do the following:
- Use correct principles
- Exercise faith
- Work and pray
- Be disciplined
- Radiate a positive attitude
- Establish a home and family
- Trust in the Lord and what he can help you become
- Be honest and loyal
- Follow proper traditions
- Smile
- Don't waste time complaining
- Serve others
- Express gratitude
His address was definately one of the highlights of graduation. The other highlight was going to dinner at P.F. Chang's and getting The Great Wall of Chocolate for dessert! :)
